Glaskin Placenta cream, or also known as Glaskin All in One Cream is a skincare product that specializes in natural whitening or melanin control. It also has many other functions such as anti-aging cream, eye cream, anti-inflammation, and moisture cream which make it one of the best skin care products, at least on the paper. After using it for 30 days, here is my quick review of the product.

The Truth About All-in-ONE Cream

I use Glaskin mainly for getting rid of my melasma, but the other reason is that I was so tempted to try it because of the All in ONE aspect of it. I’m super lazy when it comes to choosing skincare items. Imagine that just with one item, I can fulfill all my skincare needs sounds pretty awesome.
It may sound too good to be true, but after using it for a while, I came to realize that Glaskin is the “Jack of all trade” of Skincare.

What I mean by Jack of all trades, Glaskin really works as an All-in-One Skincare, but on the other hand, it doesn’t really have a focus or a strong point. For example, yes it can give you some moisturizing effect but it is very light, so for people with dry skin, you might want to look for a more specific moisture cream.

Since it’s a very light cream,  it is perfect for people with normal or oily skin types. GLASKIN might not really specialize as a moisture cream, but it is known for something else.

The Whitening Function

Now when it comes to whitening/melanin control, that’s where Glaskin shines. The placenta extract in Glaskin proves to be quite an effective substance for melanin control. For those who are not familiar with the placenta, it is widely used in different cosmetics and dermatological preparations in Japan because of its superior whitening properties and its ability to speed up skin renewal. It makes skin look fairer, radiant, and youthful by actively inhibiting the growth of melanin. After using it for a while, I can see the melasma is fading away.

But keep in mind that to get the maximum result, make sure you apply Glaskin after you finish washing your face. When I say washing your face, it means until you clean all the dirt and oil inside the skin pores. If not, then no matter how often you apply Glaskin, the cream won’t be able to penetrate the skin completely since the dirt and sebum are blocking it.

Verdict

So here is my final verdict for All in One Cream Glaskin. If you are looking for a cream that can help suppress the melanin and have a couple of sub-benefits such as light moisturizer then I can recommend Glaskin 100% to all of you. But if you only want to use it mainly as a moisture cream, then I would advise choosing another brand that has far more moisturizing content than Glaskin.
I give GLASKIN 8 out of 10 scores.
